In Greek Mythology, Pluto, the god of the underworld, fell in love with nymph Menthe. His wife, Persephone turned the nymph into a plant. Pluto did not have the power to return Menthe to her previous shape, so he decided to give her leaves a beautiful, fresh scent. These are the origins of Mint.
Pennyroyal known by Greeks as Wild Mint Άγρια μέντα’ (Φλισκούνι) is special herb because:
